but you always regret it when you don’t. Seriously, if you’ve been putting off working out, just do it! I procrastinated doing a nice, long run for so long that when I finally did it today, I wondered why I put it off in the first place!

One year ago I started a blog.
I called it The Skinny One with a burning desire to be thin. My mind was consumed by calories and pounds and my life revolved around food and exercise.
It evolved into Get Fit, Get Skinny and slowly I began to shift my focus to health. I stopped seeing calories and pounds and started seeing nourishment and strength.
It became Eat Clean, Run Dirty, helping me become as healthy, happy and peaceful...

Overcomplicating Healthy Eating
Sometimes it’s easy to get caught up in all these micro details about clean and healthy eating.
That’s kind of how I feel right now. All I need is to breathe, take a step back and remember what’s really important: eating a variety wholesome, unprocessed and yummy food. Taking it too far is not part of a healthy mix.

It's never too late!
This morning, I slept through my alarm and sat on the couch watching tv. I wrote the day off as one of those lazy days, but around lunchtime I decided to turn things around. The rest of the day was awesome - I finished heaps of work and went for a run!
